Patrick M. Piccolo, Sign Painter

Patrick Piccolo is an Oakland, California-based sign painter specializing in hand-painted and custom, hand-drafted signs and designs. Patrick also frequently works with his clients to hand-paint client-provided logos and designs. His specialty focuses on the traditional methods of the sign painting craft, where all aspects of layout and painting are done by hand from start to finish, resulting in an end product with an individualized, unique, and classically timeless aesthetic.

Patrick spent two years learning from and working with Derek McDonald at Golden West Sign Arts in Berkeley, California, and another four years at New Bohemia Signs in San Francisco. Patrick has been painting signs and murals independently in the Bay Area and beyond since 2014.
